Macdonald Racing Team along with Rodney Pammenter, travelled up to Bundaberg to race with the East Coast A Grade.  A track with long straights, provided the cars with tremendous speed.  East Coast A Grade were allowed hot laps, to get a feel of the track and ensure their cars are working properly.  The first race produced a tacky track, which provided for some good racing.  Rodney in #8, started off of pole, with Nathan beside him, and Shane starting from the rear.  The first few laps saw Rodney pull a 10 car length lead over Nathan, while Shane drove from the rear to be behind Nathan.  After coming up to some lap cars, Rodney lost ground, allowing Nathan to close the gap in the final few laps.  But nothing could be done.  Final positions for heat 1 were- 1st Rodney Pammenter    2nd Nathan Macdonald    3rd Shane Macdonald. 

Heat 2 saw Shane on pole with his brother Nathan beside him, and Rodney bringing up the rear.  Nathan was able to beat Shane around the first corner.  Shane was close behind Nathan all the way, until a few laps to go, Shane attempted going underneath Nathan, but drifted wide which allowed Pammenter to move into second place,  That's the way they finished heat 2-    1st Nathan Macdonald    2nd Rodney Pammenter    3rd Shane Macdonald. 

For heat 3, Shane was on pole again, with Rodney the Rocket along side him, Tony Blacker from 3, Nathan from 4, and Tanya Blacker from 5.  Shane was able to get the jump around the first corner and take the lead, with Rocket following him and Nathan getting in on the action too.  A last lap touch up between Rocket and Shane saw both cars drag racing up the straight, with Rodney in front over the finish line, but was later relegated back to 2nd place.  The final heat was- 1st Shane Macdonald    2nd Rodney Pammenter    3rd Nathan Macdonald. 

The points from the night were tallied, and found Rodney to be highest points scorer, which put him on pole, Nathan out of 2, and Shane from 3.  When the green flag dropped, the three Toowoomba cars led the way.  Rocket was first into the corner, but Nathan was able to switch back underneath him as the #8 car drifted wide, taking the lead.  Shane then passed Rocket the next lap on the inside.  Nathan was being shadowed by Shane, after he attempted numerous times to pass Nathan on the inside.  But Nitro Nathan ended up taking out his 4th consecutive feature race win, along with his passenger Sheridan Craig(Shotgun Sherry) while Shane made a mistake which saw the car push wide, allowing Rocket to pass him and into 2nd place.  The feature saw Nathan Macdonald 1st,     Rodney Pammenter 2nd,     Shane Macdonald 3rd,     Tony Blacker 4th,    Tanya Blacker 5th,    Chris Duffel 6th.  A strong running saw the 3 Toowoomba cars take 1st 2nd and 3rd in every race.
