Rain causes havoc in
Brisbane |

Rain has
played its part in Shane's second hit out for the season.
About an hour after we turned up at the track the heavens
opened up and it rained for a while then it stopped but
another storm was brewing so they decided to call the
meeting off. Macdonald disappointed as he was hoping to try
out the power steering after some modifications were done to
make it lighter. Next weekend will see the team head off to
Gympie for round 2 of the G & W Racing Modified Production
series at Gympie. |

claims 5th in Ian Moncrieff Memorial |

Saturday night saw the running of the Ian Moncrieff Memorial
at Charlton Raceway. Shane never had a great start to
the night after starting off the front row for the first
heat and being the first event out, the track caught
everyone off guard as they all slid up into the fence in
turn one, Macdonald hit the concrete wall hard and bent the
lower control arm. |
